At my class we wear tight fitting black dance clothes but all schools are different. If you mean on stage it is what ever the costume may be. I have seen some amazing costumes. If this isn't specific enough check with your nearest dance school they can tell you.

There are different things that Ballet dancers can wear. If you are just starting ballet and you are little, you would wear white tights with a pink body suit and a skirt (not a tu tu), ballet shoes with your hair in a bun. If you have been doing ballet for a couple of years and your are an intermediate you would wear white tights and a blue body suit, ballet shoes and your hair in a bun. If you are a senior and you have been dancing for a while now, you wear a black body suit with white tights and ballet shoes with your hair in a bun. The only time you would wear a tu tu is on stage as a costume when you are performing.
I'm a contemporary dancer and I go barefoot with loose clothing that I can move in.
Typically in modern dance you wear tight clothing. This is so the audience/teacher can see the movement of your body in detail.
You would be dancing.
You normally wear a kilt, blouse, socks, braces, garters, waistcoats and dancing shoes
Focus is attentiveness during doing something. Focus while dancing is that you only think of dancing while doing it.
