A lot of it has to do with spotting. Spotting means you look to one side while turning then you flip you're head to continue looking to the side you are spotting. I suggest looking up spotting on Google or something...
Other things include lots of practise, good balance and stable take off.
Not necessarily, i know some amazing dancers that arnt the size of poles...but alot of schools are picky.
Just stay focused and be relaxed. Don't be all worried. If you are calm and focused, you will not lose balance. Trust me. I gave that advice to my best friend, and it helped. A LOT.

there isn't really a person who "started" ballet. ballet originated in Italy, moving with catherine de medici to France when she married king Henry II. she introduced her tradition of Ballo, or dance. in the 1700's, king Louis of France became fascinated with ballet. not only did he create the first ballet academy, he also danced in every production of all the dances. that is, until he became too fat. :( :P from there, France slowly began to lose interest, and that's where russia comes in. Russian george balachine brought ballet to America. tada! a brief history of ballet. :)
You have to lake lessons, studio or private lessons (recommended for best learning) You have to train HARD, about and hour a day if you want to be sucessful. Usually the ballerinas today started when they were very young (For best results start between the ages 3-8). You have to try your best to never take a break or miss a practice, everything counts! When you are older (18+) hopefully you have practiced Ballet for a minimum of 8 yrs. you must get discovered by signing up with a Ballet Company (example: American Ballet Theatre), you may be turned down but never lose hope, come back in a few months and try again, they will be convinced sooner or later! You will start with being in the "Corps de Ballet" Background dancers (Do some research for more info). The Ballerina is the main dancer and center of attention, so you have to go through about 2-3 levels in skill. Hope that answers your question, if you have a dream to become a Ballerina one day-- I hope you try your best!

Ballet is a good form of exercise. It might help you lose weight but I think you need dedication to do that before or during you take ballet.
In your organs of balance, the hemispherical canals, which are part of your middle ear.
When you spin around, the fluid in your inner ear that helps maintain balance is disrupted. This creates confusion signals being sent to your brain, causing dizziness and loss of balance.
i am not sure what country they are from but they can certinatly check your balance. you can make a test where you take the braclet off and you stand on 1 leg and have someone push you down. you will most likely jump around or lose your balance. After that, you do it again WITH the power balance on and do the same thing. you will most likely not lose your balance unless you have perfect balance or if your friend isn't pushing you down as hard.

You exercise. Don't be stupid and develop diseases like anorexia or bulimia.
