When you jump make sure your back is straight and its offical you will get a higher jump.
stretch your legs, work on doing the splits, leg lifts
also try using ankle weights and your jumps will get alot higher run and stretch every day for at least 5 min each it will really help
By bending their knees lower and utilizing the friction of their blade turned sideways against the ice to generate forward force. Also, staying centered on the center curve of the blade so their is no drag slowing them down.
Stregthen your legs doing jump squats....with little or no weight, do a squat and then come out of it as fast as you can and jump as i high as your can. Works great for improving your vertical leap as well.
Before the takeoff, you'd want to bend your knee to give you more spring, and make sure you follow through with you arms.
