There are several good manufacturers of waders. Depending on the number of days on the river and your budget, you can find a decent pair. Definitely get breathable waders made of gortex or similar material. I recommend waders with stocking feet and a good pair of boots versus built in boots, better fit and more comfortable. Key attributes to look for:

Durability - look for reinforced areas in the knees and butt

Accessibility - quick release suspenders or a design that allows you to 'go' without removing all your Top Gear

Warranty - gotta have a good warranty policy, lifetime if possible

Check out Simms, Patagonia, Redington and Cabelas

When choosing a pair of waders for fly fishing, it is best to match the type of waders to your fishing situation. For most fly fishing situations, breathable waders are your best bet for a comfortable experience, especially in hot conditions. The best breathable waders are made out of Gore-Tex because of breathability and durability. One of the most well known and respected wader manufacturers is Simms with Patagonia also being a wise bet for comfort, durability, and performance. Quality waders can also be found from Orvis, Redington, Hodgman, and Cabelas.

In winter, the best way to stay warm is to wear neoprene waders. Coming in a variety of sizes, based on the thickness of the material, there really is no better way to stay warm. It is also best to wear a pair of bootfoot waders. Bootfoots keep the cold water farther away from your feet and provide enough room to move your toes and get good circulation.

When buying a pair of waders, keep in mind how much you will be fishing. If you fish a lot, it may be best to buy a high quality pair. If you fish a few times a year, a cheaper pair will work just fine. Be sure to try them on before you buy and always take care of them. If you are reckless, even the most expensive pair of waders will fail.
