How far is a middle school cross country course?

It depends on where you live. In Rhode Island it ranged from 1.8-2 miles. Usually being 1.8 miles.

The races are 2 miles long in middle school, and 3.1 miles (5k) in high school

Training runs for me went up to around 4-6 miles for middle school.
