Gideons International was created in 1899.
The three symbols on the back of a Roosevelt Dime all have special significance. The torch represents Freedom, the oak branch represents Strength, and the olive branch represents Peace.
The Bibles are given out by the Gideons.
The Gideons believe that the Bible is the inspired, infallible, inerrant word of God.

The United Kingdom hasn't got a national emblem as such. However, the individual countries within the UK do. England has the rose, Scotland has the thistle and Wales has a leek and a daffodil.
There is an international organization that puts copies of the Bible in each hotel room, all over the world. The organization is called "The Gideons". It is the regular Holy Bible, but the cover will say, usually, "placed by The Gideons".

The Gideons are not actually a denomination of Christianity, but a Christian organization officially called "Gideons International" whose mission is to spread the word of God by handing out Bibles to people who might never otherwise encounter it. So the Gideons don't have specific beliefs (like whether Jesus is completely God or if he was something else) and can come from a variety of denominations. However, most Christians do believe that Jesus is God, so most Gideons are probably going to believe that, too. I hope that answered your question.
