They are Heatsheets® made out of polyethylene. Runners are typically wearing just shorts and a light shirt, so when they stop they get cold. The space blanket is an inexpensive way to keep the runner warm until they can retreive their warmup clothes.
because the tennis shoes are dedicated to play tennis and has grips at the bottom so that it helps. It is much better than wearing normal runners
While they give runners better grip when they are running on a baseball field, metal cleats in youth baseball have almost totally stopped being used. They are dangerous to both those playing field positions, as spikes can hit as runners slide and run bases, and to the runners because spikes can catch in the ground and cause leg/knee injuries.
