A standard Archery target has five colored rings each divided in two bands. Each band of the target has the same width. The central two bands (bullseye, 10 points) and the ring valued at 9 points are yellow (gold). The next two bands from the centre out (7, 8) are red. The 6 and 5 rings are blue; the 3 and the 4 are white and the lowest, outer bands are black. When counting points, an arrow shaft that breaks the line dividing two zones is counted as being in the higher
The rings of an archery target are concentric circles.

The entire lot would perhaps just be called a target, but there are individual names for the sections... The stand the target rests on would simply be called the stand. The straw backing on a target is called the "boss". The paper picture with the Archery rings or equivalent scoring system is called the "face".

The archers shot at a Target and all hit the bullseye. Archers are people skilled in archery.
In Darts a bullseye is worth 50 points, in archery its worth 10 points. However, puritans of archery do not call it bullseye they refer to it as "the Gold"

It is referred to as a "Boss", origins not know but could be because it sticks out? The "Target Face" is what you put on the Boss for scoring, these are different sizes depending on what Round is being shot (Indoor & Outdoor). The biggest face is 122cm and the smallest 40cm (Target Archery).
The area around the bullseye on a target is typically referred to as the "perimeter" or "outer ring." It is where lower-scoring values are assigned in activities like darts or archery.
shooting as close as you can to the bullseye.
Over the years and around the world many different designs of archery target have been used. I'm sure some had red in the centre. However, today in target archery (e.g. as shot at the Olympics) the target face is standardised and the centre (which is never called the "Bullseye" by archers!) is yellow and is normally referred to as "Gold". An image of a target face can be found at http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/d/d5/Archery_Target_80cm.svg. Other target faces do exist; the most noticeably different would be one used for field archery which is all black apart from the centre which is, again, gold.
The bullseye is red
