In archery, hitting the black ring, which is the outermost ring on a target, typically scores 1 point. The target is divided into multiple rings, with each ring assigned a different point value. The innermost ring, usually colored gold or yellow, scores the highest points, while the outer rings score fewer points. The black ring is usually one of the outer rings and is commonly associated with a score of 1 point.

There aren't many types of bows, however there are many custom made bows which highly differ from the standard modern bows. The most common types are Short Bows and Long Bows as well as Cross Bows. The strongest ones of course are Cross Bows, as these are powered automatically, whereas in the other two you have to physically pull the arrow.

Archery is normally practiced, as a Competition Sport, on an archery range. Although an archery range can sometimes be located in the center area of a running track (that circular track used for running sports) at the local high-school or college, many archery ranges are located in archery stores (perfect for winter-time archery) and parks, the ranges located in parks are usually for the use of the general Public, free of charge. There are even ranges which are built separate from other sport fields and arenas.
Do you mean scoring rings?
it depends on what color your arrow point lands on
On an NFAA indoor archery target the center, also known as the bull's eye, is worth 5 points. On a Vegas indoor target it is worth 10 points
The number of rings to draw can vary depending on the purpose or context in which they are being used. Here are a few examples: Tree Rings: To determine the age of a tree, the number of rings can be counted. One ring represents one year of growth, so the total number of rings is equal to the age of the tree. Rings in a target: The number of rings in a target can vary, but it is typically determined by the size of the target and the purpose for which it is being used. For example, a standard archery target may have ten rings, while a target for a shooting competition may have more. Rings in a ring chart or graph: The number of rings in a ring chart or graph can vary depending on the data being presented and the purpose for which it is being used. The number of rings can be adjusted to accommodate the scale and complexity of the data. In general, the number of rings to draw depends on the purpose or context in which they are being used, and can be adjusted to meet the specific needs of the situation.

It depends on target for what: they will be different sizes for archery, rifle shooting, hand guns, heavy artillery, and so on.
Over the years and around the world many different designs of archery target have been used. I'm sure some had red in the centre. However, today in target archery (e.g. as shot at the Olympics) the target face is standardised and the centre (which is never called the "Bullseye" by archers!) is yellow and is normally referred to as "Gold". An image of a target face can be found at http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/d/d5/Archery_Target_80cm.svg. Other target faces do exist; the most noticeably different would be one used for field archery which is all black apart from the centre which is, again, gold.

The five Olympic rings were esigned by a Frenchman named Baron Pierre de Coubertin in 1912. The five rings represent the five continents. They are interlaced to show the universality of Olympism.
