Comparison between hockey and basketball?
In both sports you are trying to score more goals/baskets than the other team. You also have five people out on the rink/court at one time. hockey is way better and basketball is an extremely wimpy sport But what really matters is what you think, if you like baksetball, then basketball is better, if you think hockey is better, then hockey is better.
Why in India cricket is more glamorized sport then its national game hockey?
Cricket in India is more popular than Hockey, because, Indian have always been better at cricket than their national sport, Hockey. Since India was once the best in the world at cricket, the Indians gave up their encouragement towards India for Hockey. Cricket is currently India's No. 1 sport! India was once the best at hockey, but, after years when cricket was discovered in India, Hockey was almost forgotten! But India is still known for Hockey and is great at it as well as cricket!
Are all track spikes removable - Is it bad to take them off your shoe and then run with them?
Track spikes do not have a lot of support for your feet. Some have better support than others. For example, sprinter spikes do not have a heel or an arch. Distance spikes have some cushion for the heel. Overall, it is bad to run in spikes but you can still do it. Some work better than others though. It would be a better idea to run in distance spikes than sprinter spikes.
