it has not been held there because the contries have to win that opertunity. like in 2012 England won and its is goin to be placed there and 2008 Beijing won so it was held there. does that help you?

actually its because Africa and South Africa do not have the money to host!
to host the Olympics EVERYTHING has to be new and thats alot of money to buy it all get people to build the stadium and yea.
so its not coz there losing the vote its because the do not meet the requirements per say to host.

∙ 15y agoIt's simply because they do not apply for it. The International Olympic Committee cannot appoint a city to host the game, but choose one from the applications.
