Cime de la Bonette 2802 metres. Most recently used in 2008 when John Lee Augustyn was first over the summit... then proceded to crash about 1km into the descent.

Highest stage finish ever was the Col du Granon near Briancon. 2404m. Only appeared once, in 1986.

The route they take vary a little from year to year, so steepest climb may also change. One side of Col du Tourmalet has a 14% incline which is an absolute killer to ride.
