The fastest 10-yard split ever electronically recorded was the 1.40 time recorded by current Tennessee Titan runningback Chris Johnson at the 2008 NFL Scouting Combine.
Two sports come to mind when I see the phrase "100 yards long". One is the field of play in American style football. Both college & NFL football. Excluding the 10 yard end zones, the regular field of play is 100 yards long. Also, in high school track, the old 100 yard dash is still an exciting event. A good time for high school kids in the 100 yard dash is 9.5 seconds. An average time is around 10 seconds.
10 sec.

40 yard dash/10 yard dash= 4 What ever the time you got for the ten yard, you multiple it by 4. It could be an average of your running time per 10 yard dash. Sometimes for several runners, they would feel worn out by the time when reaching the 40 yard mark.
A 10 yard dash time is really not a good judge of your speed, the distance is too short. A 40 yard dash is what you need to get a good estimate of your abilities. but I'll give you time for both 40 yard dash-between 5-5.8 seconds 10 yard dash-between 1.3-1.5 seconds
I'm a 10 year old Girl and I ran a 6.0 in the 40 yard dash. I have proof to show.
