Not quite true.... Donington Park hosted the EuropeanGrand Prix in 1993... never the BGP. Aintree hosted the British Grand Prix in the late '50's and early 60's and Brands is legendary

The British Grand Prix is a race in the calendar of the FIA Formula One World Championship. It is currently held at the Silverstone Circuit near the village of Silverstone in Northamptonshire. The British and Italian Grands Prix are the oldest continuously staged Formula One world championship Grands Prix. It will be held between June 19 to June 21 2009.

Silverstone, brands hatch and aintree (and also brooklands but in the 20's before f1 began) also donington park held the European grand prix
