Currently at the Nascar Sprint Cup level, California, Florida and Virginia have the most tracks with 2 each. Florida has the Daytona International Speedway and Homestead-Miami Speedway. Virginia has the Martinsville Speedway and Richmond International Raceway. California has the Auto Club Speedway and Infineon Raceway.
On NASCAR Kart Racing, you earn tracks by defeating Rivals on Championship Series.
As of my last update in October 2023, there are several NASCAR tracks that do not have lights for nighttime racing. Notable tracks without lighting include places like Dover International Speedway and Martinsville Speedway. Most of the officials attend every race. Like any job from time to time someone will not be able to work a race. The tracks do not pay them, they are payed by NASCAR.
"Short Tracks", by NASCAR's definition, are tracks shorter than 1 mile in total length.
