To become a formular 1 racer: the first thing you can do is to start goin go-karting every now and then and if you enjoy this you can try to start woking on a formular 1 race track even if its only giving out tickets or cleaning cars. Try to hang out with the race car drives and ask them lots of questions about racing. Then try and go to a racing school for about 3 days. this will look good to other drives. when ever you can get behind the wheel of a car, even if its only a street car. your boss should see what you can do. Just try to hang out with drives and ask them loads of questions about racing. thank you. By Chapman

To become a F1 driver you should start practicing on carts when your 10.

You should then go to racing/driving school which costs around 50 grand.

If your American you should move to Europe once your a teen. After driving school you need to practice on the f3 or f300. Most people advance to an actual f1 driver by becoming a F1 test driver.

An FIA SuperLicense. In order to obtain one of them, a driver must place well in GP2 Series, the top six in the Indy Racing League or win one of several Formula Three championships (including Euroseries, British and Italian) or World Series by Renault. A driver must also complete 300km of testing.

Start in Karting at a young age (typically under 10), win a lot, start moving up through racing classes (ie: formula 3000, formula BMW, formula 2, gp2, etc.) when you're around 15- 19, and finally land in f1 in your early- mid twenties. you have to have a combination of resources, skill, seat time, determination, physical fitness, and luck to land a seat in f1.

Hope this helps

The most common way is to work your way up from Go-Karting at your local track to competitive karting, then progressing to semi-pro and pro race events such as GP2, touring cars, F3000 or even rallying. Usually aspiring F1 drivers will start very young at karting (the stars of today usually start as young as 6) and take the route of GP2 and single seaters.

Well to get into F1 it takes about 12-15 years you start when your 8 years old and you go into Go-karting Championships then you move up through the racing years and if you are good enough you will end up either in a racing seat or in a test drivers seat.

To become a Formula One driver, a person will have to rise up in the ranks of the racing world. You will need to start driving in small circuits and train until the Formula One series wants to recruit you.
