The drivers job is to compete in a series for the main organization, which is Nascar. The company is owned by the France family. Brian France is the CEO and Chairman of Nascar. Each driver has a team owner, who is the boss of the team. Just like in any other job, the drivers have an employer/employee relationship.

The owner of the race team.
It really depends on how many drivers he has and how much insurance he covers for his team. Also whether the team takes economy class or first class, how good his drivers are, how many repairs the cars make, and how many team members he has. Each driver has 20-30 sponsors that pay 4-10 million dollars a year ($80 million to $300/driver).
Yes, they can. Racing teams usually consist of one driver per race team. But they can have multiple drivers race each of their cars during the season. If you mean teams per owner, there is a four car team limit in place. That is the most Nascar will allow.
In Nascar, an owner is allowed to have a maximum of four cars (teams).

the owner but the driver is who endorses that company
You probably have to contact NASCAR and the owner of whatever team you want to sponser.
From my inside knowledge, a Formula Drift driver's salary solely depends on the number of sponsors the team owner owner can attract. The drivers salary is usually worked out between the team owner and the driver. Obviously, the more publicity the driver/team gets the better the pay. Most of the time, the publicity drivers get is based on their performance in the series and also on past successes in motorsports. Note, Formula Drift themselves do not pay the drivers.
