How did the romans win the punic wars?
In the first war, a land power, they developed a navy to matche
the Carthaginian one.
In the second war, after being on the defensive with Carthage
invading Italy, they turned the tables and invaded Carthage,
mobilising the north Africans on their side, and defeated them
there.
In the third war they captured carthage and ended the problem by
razing the city and selling its people into slavery.
