Augusta National
Dwight D. Eisenhower was so passionate about golf that he had a putting green installed at the White House, on the South Lawn; by some accounts, he played nearly every day when he was in Washington. He was also a member (for 21 years) at Augusta National. There is a guest cabin there named after him. Also, there is a pine tree that extends out to the fairway a bit on hole number 17; it seemed to give Ike some trouble-- so much so that he lobbied to have the tree cut down, but that did not happen. The tree is also named in honor of President Eisenhower.
