Dwight D. Eisenhower was so passionate about Golf that he had a putting green installed at the White House, on the South Lawn; by some accounts, he played nearly every day when he was in Washington. He was also a member (for 21 years) at Augusta National. There is a guest cabin there named after him. Also, there is a pine tree that extends out to the fairway a bit on hole number 17; it seemed to give Ike some trouble-- so much so that he lobbied to have the tree cut down, but that did not happen. The tree is also named in honor of President Eisenhower.
George W. Bush Eisenhower and Harding loved to play. Kennedy was supposedly very good at the game but his back was very bad when he was President so I do not know how much he played as President. Wilson played often but not because he liked it but because his doctors ordered him to get more exercise.

He enjoyed golf and loved to paint.
Harding and Eisenhower were noted as playing gold while they were president. Kennedy was supposedly an excellent golfer but did not play much as president or if he did, it not attract much attention in the press. I think Clinton also plays golf.

The Eisenhower Trophy is a biennial world amateur team golf championship for men organized by the International Golf Federation.
William McKinley was supposedly the first president to play a round of golf. Taft played golf but not often when he was president but he likely was the first sitting president to play golf. Wilson certainly played golf while he was president, but not very well.
