While you may see several strings stamped with major manufacturers names this doesn't necessarily mean that those companies actually manufacture their own strings. Companies will contract these services to outside sources who actually make the string and then "brand" it for the more recognizable companies. Some of the companies that do make their own string that may have familiar names are Babolat (France), Ashaway (the only American company), Tecnifibre (France), and Bow Brand (Great Britain). Companies that typically brand string are Gosen, Toa, and Yeo Wee just to name a few.
