Pat Johnson is the Australian record holder but all isn't necessarily how it appears in sprinting.

Matt Shirvington's 10.03 into a small negative wind is actually very slightly better than Patrick Johnson's 9.93 which was aided by a 1.8 metre tailwind (if we adjust the times to allow for wind and altitude as per internationally recognised methods).

However 2010 hasn't been our best ever year.

Our fastest 3 men ran 10.17 Rouge-Serret, 10.18 Johnson and 10.23 Davies , all legal times.

There's no fun in playing it safe. Why not try something a little unhinged?
