When you go to a Golf club or driving range it is most likely that they will have a few sets of clubs for rental. You may though be able to borrow some off your friends if that golf club does not have any. It is a good source of income for golf clubs as some tourists show up and just decide they'd like to play that club, and they don't have their clubs with them. There are also online rental sites like GolfClubsAway.com that rent clubs at very low rates, deliver them to your hotel or golf course and pick them up.

Another on-line rental service that I've had great success with is clubhub.com. They'll ship premium TaylorMade clubs (for free) to your hotel, golf course, or fedex location anywhere in the continental U.S. Pricing ends up less than two-way baggage fees and you can choose from men's/women's, long/regular, etc.
