Find the serial number plate on the frame, typically just below the dash on the passenger side. The number will consist of a letter or sometimes two, followed by number. The first two digits of the number are the last two digits of the year it was manufactured. so serial number A85xxxxxx would have been built sometime in 1985.
I wouldn't take off the governor, but you can loosen it. It sits on the rear end of the drivers side, and it's simply a bolt and nut that the looser you make the nut, the more speed you'll get from your cart.
As soon as lube runs out of the fill hole, it is full.
Open the seat and look on top of the left rear tire well. It has a four wire plug. You may find it easy to remove by loosening the two ten mill. hex head screws which are found above the left rear tire. Hope this helps.
