You can get gymnastics grips online. If you type in gymnastics grips on Google.com they will most likely have places you can buy them.
Also, you might be able to fine them at a local gymnastics center.
You can make grips using tape (like the kind of tape you would use to tape your ankle). First, you tape around your wrist once or twice. Then, starting with the back of your hand, tape from the base of your wrist in the back to the base of your wrist in the front. This strip of tape should go in between your index and middle finger. Next, do the same thing for in between your ring finger and pinky and lastly, in between your middle and ring finger. Do it in this order!! You can go over it a second time, depending on how thick you want the grip to be and covering any gaps in the tape. As a last step, tape around your wrist a couple more times to secure the exposed edges of the tape pieces between your fingers.
Well It's better to have grips by the time your level 5 but if your hands slip on the bar easily than you should get grips.
You should check your gymnastics Academy most of the time they have them at least that is where i bought my daughter hers
