Believe it or not the most used shaft would probably be stiff and some of the younger ones would even use x-flex. There would be very few who would use senior flex shafts.
To be honest, it wouldn't be much different from the PGA Tour, mainly X stiff and stiff.
Callaway make this shaft flex, it is designed in between a regular flex and stiff flex shaft.
A regular shaft has regular flex.
i need to replace the flex shaft in my weedeater. how do i do it?
Hi....I have played Ping clubs for serveral years..and yes the Ping soft regular shaft is equivilant to the senior shaft or A flex of many shaft designations.
Stiff flex is simply a stiff graphite shaft. The flex of the shaft is basically how whippy it is, stiff has a little whip in it, but less than a regular. 60 would be the weight of the shaft, 60 grams.
Shaft flex is determined by the vibration frequency-- this is measured by fixing the shaft's butt and attaching a 10-ounce weight on its tip and then vibrate it to its vertical direction.
A senior flex shaft is a very flexible lightweight golf shaft which is ideal for senior golfers. They usually have a low kick point which is ideal to get the ball in the air with the slower swing speeds of a senior golfer.
A stiff flex is the flex of the shaft usually for swing speeds between 90 and 105 mph.
A tour shaft refers to a type of golf club shaft designed for professional or advanced players, often characterized by a stiffer flex and lower torque compared to regular shafts. These shafts are engineered to provide greater control, precision, and consistency during swings, catering to players with faster swing speeds. Tour shafts are typically made from high-quality materials, such as carbon fiber, to enhance performance and reduce weight, allowing for improved distance and accuracy.
The flex of the Taylor Made Burner graphite shaft typically depends on the specific model and year it was produced. Common flex options for Taylor Made Burner graphite shafts include Regular (R), Stiff (S), and Senior (A) flexes. It is always recommended to check with the manufacturer or a club fitting professional for the most accurate information.
A wise man's guess would be Stiff Regular flex, between Stiff flex and Regular flex.
