Squash is a much more physically demanding sports, recognised as being on a par with rowing in terms of calories burned per hour of exercise. Both sports have very different techniques associated with them in terms of movement and also racquet control. In my opinion, squash is more fun as the level of intensity and the speed of the game is second to none.
