Progs is a game you can use with one to four players Your prog id 36 minus your handicap. Example if you are a ten handicap your prog is 26. You then play hole by hole for points. A double bogie or higher are worth 0. A bogie is worth 1. A par is worth 2, a birdie is worth 4 and an eagle is worth 8. The goal is to beat your prog and if you do your score is plus the difference. If you don't beat your prog your score is minus the difference. Example: if your prog is 26 and your point total is 30 you are plus 4. If your point total is 22 then you are minus 4. If you are playing two three or four man teams you add the progs for the team and accumulate points together.
Scoring means making a lot of birdies and eagles on a scorecard.
