Contrary to belief, field hockey can be played left handed as well as it is right handed. The actual idea is that the stick can be "right-handed" only; even then, this is only a classification, since many left handed people are just as good at using them.

No sport bans left-handed people. They merely restrict the use of the left hand to no, or a certain set of, activities. This includes sports like polo and field hockey (and arm-wrestling if you call it a sport).

i dont think its so much left or right hand it's simply some people that are left handed might be better at sport than someone with a right hand and besides theres no scientific evidence to prove this theory
then they will learn how to use their left hand and after a long period of time forget how to use their right hand.
