But they will not necessarily lose many. An amateur could use anything from 1 to about 10, there is no set number, but there is a higher chance they will lose balls, as above.
The laddie is not gender specific. Ladies golf balls are usually labelled as ladies golf balls, where as you would never see golf balls labelled mens' golf balls.
