urm.. the average 30 year old in my opinion, could probably run the 400 meters in between 60-64 seconds.
to run it in 60 secs would mean a 15 seconds 100 meter and 64 secs would mean 16 seconds obviously:). hope i helped!

∙ 12y agoI'm 42, and just started timing 400m runs. After three days, I'm at 75 secs. Hoping to get it in to the 60's in a week or two.

really fast because when i was 10 and i ran in a 55 meter dash all the kids were like lighting but i was prepared so i came in first

An average of 15/17 seconds in the 100 meter dash. The fastest ones usually get around 13/14, and some even get 12. 12 is really fast.
A time of 15.1 seconds in the 100 meters for a 12 year old is a good time. It is not considered especially fast, but it is likely as fast or faster than average.
