gettin the shot put as far as u can
It's a sport where you try to throw a heavy ball as far as you can (track and Field)
The farthest shot was in 2002 by Justin Phoenix it was 94 feet and 5.5 inches giving Justin the record for the worlds longest basketball shot.
Depending on the angle of the shot, how far away you are from the basket, and the amount of force you put on the ball all determine if you'll make the shot or come up empty.
Squirt refers to the deviation of the cue ball's path from the aim line due to using side english. This can impact a pool shot because the cue ball will not be traveling where you are aiming exactly, and so you will not execute the shot as intended. If you are hitting the cue ball with right english (on the right side of the cue ball, as you are looking at it down on the shot), the cue ball will have a tendency to squirt to the left as you stroke through the cue ball. The amount of squirt depends on how far to the right you hit the cue ball (vs a center ball hit on the aim line) and how hard you hit the cue ball.
You have 3 options. 1. Go back to where you played your previous shot from, 2. Go back as far as you want, on a straight line, keeping your ball between you and the pin, no nearer the hole. 3. Or take two club lengths from where your ball is, no closer to the hole. All of these options carry a one shot penalty.
There is two options open to you, they each cost you a penalty stroke. You can replay the ball from the tee (which will be your 3rd shot), or you can take a drop. To take the drop, you can go back as far as you want, keep the point where the ball entered the hazard between you and the flag and drop the ball (the next shot will also be your 3rd). As it is a water hazard, you do not need to get the ball, as long as you saw the ball enter the hazard, you are allowed to play another ball.
It depends on the shot you want to hit. If you want the ball to roll then you should keep the clubface square and go into a forward press. When hitting a pitch shot you can play anything from 55º to 65º depending on your swing speed and how far you want to fly the ball. Anything much more than 65º would be a flop shot.
The white balls are at maximum distance and maximum angle apart in the break shot of a game of pool or billiards, where one ball is placed at the far end of the table and the cue ball is placed at one end of the table for the break shot.
Let's assume that your golf ball is 1.680 inches in diameter - the smallest size golf ball allowed in certain golfing associations. Then we know that the circumference of the golf ball will be the distance it would roll in one complete rotation. Circumference = pi * diameter Circumference = 3.14 * 1.680 in Circumference = 5.2752 inches = the distance that this particular golf ball would roll
This is known as a lateral hazard, it differs from a water hazard as you can drop on either side of the hazard. There are a couple of options;Take a two club length drop, from the nearest point of relief, no nearer the hole.Replay the previous shot, from the previous position.Keep the point where the ball entered the hazard between you and the pin, and go back as far as you like. You do have the option of playing the ball as it lies, but remember, you can not ground you club in a hazard.
Placing the ball at the back of your stance will effectively make the ball fly lower and farther. By placing the ball at the back of your stance you are decreasing the loft of the club. If you want to hit a high shot move the ball forward but remember it will not go as far.
