Yes, you will need different track shoes and cleats/spikes for different events. The number of spikes, the pattern of spikes and the length of the spikes differs for sprinters, long distance runners and jumpers. If spikes are not used for running the shoes are still different. And throwing shoes do not have spikes and have a smooth sole.
spikes.
Yes they wear shoes with spikes at the bottom of it.
faumous footware
The spikes dig into earth and so give better traction.
You could find some spikes running shoes by going online to their website. Their website will most likely offer running shoes to the customers unless they don't have any.
no you can't. Soccer shoes have spikes on theedge, and football shoes just have the spikes in the area of the shoe.......... :P
Spikes or "crampons" are only fitted to the shoes and used when mountaineers climb so high that they encounter ICE on the ground on the mountain. The spikes dig into the ice and stop the mountaineers feet slipping.

it depends on the shoe...track spikes cannot.
No, I do not recommend using regular track shoes to throw the javelin. Javelin spikes have spikes in the heel as well as the front, so you can plant your block leg without slipping. Generally speaking javelin spike shoes are a heavier shoe. This allows for the much longer spikes. However, some athletes do wear there "regular" spike shoes and purchase a "jav heel" to add the extra much needed spikes in the heels.
yes, they do.
