Gymnastics is a very hard sport. You have to be flexible, strong and willing to work hard and go for stuff. You have to work out non stop. I do gymnastics for four hours a day, five days a week. When im home i go on the tread mill and i go to the gym. You have to keep your strenghth or you will lose skills. Well it depends on how old you are and what level you are. Im 14 and level 7.
no you can do it on bars, trampoline, etc
The women only events in artistic gymnastics are balance beam and uneven bars. Women only perform rhythmic gymnastics.
Yes, adults can perform gymnastics. However, the adult body tends to have less flexibility and agility than an adolescent body, particularly if the adult was not flexible or agile as a youth. You can still perform gymnastics and learn the movements, but you probably won't qualify for the Olympics.
Im not fully sure what you mean. Here are some possible answers:Women's and men's. The difference here is obviously the gender, as well as the apparatus they perform on.Traditional gymnastics and Rythmic gymnastics. Rythmic gymnasts don't use bar beam or vault, they perform highly choreographed routines on floor, using props such as a ball, hoop, or rope.Artistic gymnastics or power gymnastics: Artistic gymnasts incorporate more graceful dance elements into their routines

The difficulty of the moves you perform, how well you perform them, and how bad you perform them (judges deduct tenths or hundredths of a point for each wobble, fall, or slight mistake).
The performance would be considered null. If the gymnast was unhurt, they can probably re-perform. Chances are they would be injured and would be unable to perform.
Each gymnast has a different starting value according to the difficulty level of skills he/she will perform in the routine.
