You would need to knock down all the pins every frame to get a strike in bowling every time.

If everyone could get a strike every single time, the sport wouldn't be fun.

A strike is worth 10 pins plus the next two throws.

So if you bowled a strike and then 5 pins then 3 pins, you would add 18 pins to the score for the frame with the strike.
