Yes you can, but it depends on what your planning of achieving, if its going to the Olympics, a very slim chance, but if you short, will start training 5-6 days a week for 4-5 hours, naturally very flexible, and determined then possibly you could go to worlds or olympics. If you just want to start, to have fun and be able to do the splits then yes of course its a perfect age. For any sport its fine, as long as you have fun and love what your doing you'll go very far! Just don't give up on gymnastics, because at first it can be very difficult then u get better and better:)
11 just like me...
No. You can start almost any sport at almost any age.

You can start at any age!
No, you can start gymnastics at any age. It is a fun sport to stay active and in shape for any age. :) Hope this helped
Of Course You Can!!
NO!
Nastia Liukin started gymnastics when she was only 3 years of age
she was 12
You should start competing at the age of 8,9,10 or 11 because when you are a child you are more flexible.
There is no height limit for gymnastics. And I am not sure about the age. I am 14 and I do gymnastics and I think that like 16-19 is too old. But there is no age limit
Theoretically, you can easily start gymnastics at 11, if you find a club to take you but it could be unlikely that you will make competition level for your age groups, unless you are super talented already. Most gymnasts start between 4-7 but at the last olympics, a member of the French women's team, one gymnast started at age 10.
