It is always a good idea to check with your individual homeowner's policy to confirm coverage, however most policies will exclude Golf carts for coverage unless they are used in the upkeep of the property on their use includes conveyance for a handicapped individual. If the cart is used away from the property you will not be covered for any liability exposure. The same usually holds true for ATV's. Again, check with your agent for confirmation of coverage.

Check your policy, they are all different. If you are still not sure, speak with your insurance company or a lawyer.
