G strings
Greatness! 1961 George Brashier, eqiupment manager, created it. Packers had logos before but the first and only one on the helmet is the G for greatness. It's a trademarked "G" and the universities that use it have permission from the Packers.
Some famous players with G are George Best, Geoff Hurst, Gordan Banks, Geremis.
