The Michigan Wolverines won the 2000 Orange Bowl on January 1, 2000. Tom Brady led the Wolverines to an overtime victory over the Alabama Crimson Tide, 35-34. Alabama had led most of the game, including two 14 point leads at different times in the game. The game was tied late in the third quarter. The fourth quarter was the only scoreless quarter of the game, which went to overtime. The game was won in overtime on a missed PAT by Alabama.
