A small dirt bike is a good place to start. If you ride much, you'll have situations that could end up badly. If you spend some time on a dirt bike learning how to ride through difficult situations, you'll be a much safer street rider. The dirt is a lot friendlier to skin than the pavement is. Road rash does hurt!!!Start small, if you still like it expand from there.PS: I crashed my little dirt bike plenty of times. In the process, I learned how to save my own life. . . The night a semi truck ran over my fellow rider, I was able to avoid being caught in the accident. My buddy lived, but he spent 122 days in bed. He now has a steel rod from his knee to his ankle.
