Moose is the best!!I would like to preface my answer by saying that I am a life-long Cowboys fan and the first thing I did before answering this question was to do some research. In addition to my memory of both Robert Newhouse and Darryl Johnston I remember many other great players at this position. The reason for my answer is simple though. When you can be listed as one of the best blocking NFL fullbacks of all time, and you can be used as a go to guy when 1 or 2 yards are needed (especially at the goal line), and you work great on short passes out of the back field, and your resume includes diving catches in the end zone (in both playoff games and in Superbowls), then your resume is complete. Without comparison, the best NFL fullback of all time is Darryl Johnston. I'm also a long time cowboys fan and you named the 3rd and 4th best of cowboys history. Don Perkins was the best fullback of all time. He was a devastating blocker who knocked both Mike Lucci and Ray Nietschke our of ball games. He was the most reliable 4th and 1 ball carrier of all time. His only weakness was that he was a so so reciever. Walt Garrison was better then either Newhouse or Johnston but not as good as Perkins. Jim Taylor was a better runner then any of them, but was not the blocker that either of them were. The best blocking Full-Back of all time is actually considered to be Larry Czonka of the Miami Dolphins.
