like mine. weird. he was born in South Africa and moved a lot and finally stopped in canada. he loved ice hockey and soccer before the age of 12. he then went to high school, but his grades dropped so he changed schools. he went to St. Michaels University school and was an athlete. he was in soccer, rugby and Basketball and his stats in basketball were ridiculous. he averaged 21.3 pts 11.2 assists and 9.1 rebounds. almost a triple double. he was only mentioned by one university however. that was santa clara. he was criticized by the coach as the worst defensive player he had ever seen. he managed to get the scholarship, and proved his coach wrong. he led santa clara to three tournaments upsetting countless teams. he then was drafted by the phionex suns and here he is with the lakers all of a sudden.
