I remember another score that is very less than 41 - 21. In 1970 or 71 a game finished 7 - 4. ( What is intended for modern era?) I don't remember the teams but they were small college teams.
If modern era is after 1970, then Tennessee vs Temple 11 - 6 on December 15, 1973 could qualify for second lowest.
The lowest score for a known women's basketball game was 16-7. It was the 5A Oregon state championship between Willamette and Springfield. Springfield won. The score was 4-0 at halftime.
usually 50 to 99
around 1972 or 73, before the shot clock was invented, duke vs. UNC, both teams spread the floor and the score was like 4-6 The final score of that game was 12-10. However in 1973, the University of Tennessee beat Temple University 11-6 in the Volunteer Classic.
Its Lebron James. ^^^^^^^^^^^ He did not play in college.
Yes, it counts as a point for the other team if you score in your own basket. It has happened a few times recently in college basketball.
