As far As I know it is very limited. There are three main leagues in the UK. They are the national league, the northern league, and the southern league. The national league being the highest competition and the others following. For finding professional teams, the national league would be your best bet. Unfortunately the only true professional teams in England (from what I have researched)are Arsenal and Fulham. However, the Fulham ladies team has disbanded due to finances. Other teams say they are semi pro teams, but this term can be widely used. Just make sure you know why they consider themselves semi pro. In the U.S. only 5% of footballers will ever play at a higher level than college, and females have an even larger disadvantage with the lack of options. So basically, if you are a female footballer looking to play at a higher level, you are screwed. It is something our generation was not blessed with. I do know that there are professional women's leagues in Japan and Sweden. That being said, just hunt around as much as you can. You never know what you might find, and there is also always the option of finding sponsers. Hope this has helped. Best of luck to you. A fellow football fan
