Kapi Dhwaja (The Chariot With Monkey Lord, Hanumana on it's flag)
In Rome the chariot races were held mainly in the Circus Maximus. There was also the Circus Flaminius for races. A clue is the word "circus", which means racecourse. Any Roman structure with the word "circus" in its name, would be a racecourse.
Yes it was. A hoplitodrome was a chariot race.
Hard to say, but think bigger than a Roman Chariot....if you go to London there is a statue on the embankment of her and the chariot
The chariot was developed from 1700BCE to 500BCE. The oldest chariots have been found in the Ural Mountains. The parts of development of the chariot was the horse, the wheel, and the use of the bow. It is not clear why humans invented the chariot before riding the horse. The bow was invented around the second millennium BCE. The first reference to charioteers in the civilized world is from Syria around 1800BCE. The Hittites established their first kingdom with the help of chariots in 1700BCE, the Hurrians used it to penetrate the Middle East, and the Hyskos in 1650BCE. So, as you can see they did not invent the chariot, but were somewhat late to the party.

On his chariot rides, Prince Siddhartha saw four significant sights that profoundly impacted him: an old man, a sick man, a dead body, and a wandering ascetic. These encounters revealed to him the realities of aging, suffering, and death, which contrasted sharply with his sheltered life of luxury. Witnessing these truths led Siddhartha to seek a path to enlightenment and liberation from the cycle of suffering. This pivotal moment catalyzed his journey toward becoming the Buddha.

Selene: goddess of the moon. Hespera: goddess of dusk. It is said that Phoebus Apollo rides the sun chariot and that Artemis, Apollo's twin, rides the moon chariot.
The sun is the chariot he rides across the sky every day.

Each morning Helios rides his chariot from east to west. Helios was believed to be the god of the sun, but did not have a great cult following in early Greece.
