Horse Riding is also Expensive, since horses are not cheap.

What is the most played sport in Newfoundland and Labrador?

I would have to say Hockey

Ages 0 to 20 most played sport?

hockey in canada, and football in America

Do all Canadians play hockey?

All Canadians don't play hockey. Because Canada had cold, extended winters, winter sports have become very popular, as they do in most colder climates. Similarly, many warmer climates foster warm-weather sports, like soccer and baseball. In locations near water, you'll find a lot of surfing and waterskiing. Well, as much as I would like to live up to the steriotype and say yes, we don't, and actually Hockey is not even the most played sport in Canada. Believe it or not more people play golf than Hockey. But the kids that do play hockey in Canada grow up to be world class players.

What is an example of Americanization of sport?

Well if you would like to know with regards to actual titles then it would have to be.. * Hockey to Field Hockey as most Americans call, Ice Hockey, Hockey. * Football to Soccer as Most Americans call Football, Soccer. * Snooker to Billards as Most Americans call Snooker, Billiards. (although i think billards is a bit different closer to Pool) Thats all i can think of unless someone is willing to add to this list??

Football (soccer) is by far the most popular sport followed by roller hockey, basketball, futsal, handball, rugby, and volleyball. Roller Hockey is a sport played on a dry surface with skates with wheels. Portugal's roller hockey teams have won 15 World Titles and 20 European Titles (the most by any country in either category). Futsal is a sport similar to soccer but it is played on a smaller field and mostly indoors. Handball is a sport played by seven players per team who try to throw the ball into the goal in two 30 minute periods. Rugby is like a sport similar to football and popular in New Zealand, South Africa, France, Australia, Ireland, Scotland, England, and Whales.
