There are no more undefeated teams left in the National Football League during the 2010-2011 season
So far, only two: The 1972 Miami Dolphins and the 2007 New England Patriots, the only two NFL teams to have an undefeated season. The Dolphins won 14 games to claim an undefeated season, while the Patriots became the first team to go undefeated in a 16 game season. For the 2009 season, two teams could be added to that list: The Indianapolis Colts (currently 14-0) and the New Orleans Saints (currently 13-1). Only three teams in NFL history have started the season 14-0, and those include the 1972 Dolphins, the 2007 Patriots, and the 2009 Indianapolis Colts.
Colts and Saints.
Presuming you mean so far this season, the remaining undefeated teams are the Saints, Vikings, Broncos and Colts (as of 10-21-09).
The Miami Dolphins. ANSWER: The Cleveland Browns went 14-0 in 1948 and won the All-America Football Conference championship. They would go on to join the NFL two years later. The Dolphins were the first NFL team to go undefeated in 1972. There are college teams, of course, that go undefeated almost every season.
As of the end of the 2007 season, there have been four teams in the NFL that have had undefeated/untied regular seasons: 1934 - Chicago Bears 1942 - Chicago Bears 1972 - Miami Dolphins 2007 - New England Patriots Of those four teams, only the 1972 Dolphins won the NFL championship and completed the season undefeated.
No NFL teams went undefeated in 2009.
2009
In the 2009 season: the Colts and the Saints. First time in NFL history two teams have been 12-0 in the same season.

1972 Miami Dolphins, that is it
Colts and Saints.

One. The 1972 Miami Dolphins are the only NFL team to go undefeated in both the regular season as well as the playoffs. Four teams have had an undefeated regular season, 1924 Bears, 1942 Bears, 1972 Dolphins, 2007 Patriots. With the exception of the Dolphins, they all lost the championship game.
1972 Miami Dolphins and 2007 New England Patriots.
Yes, the Dolphins in 1972 went undefeated during the regular season and won the Super Bowl. The 1934 and 1942 Chicago Bears went undefeated during the regular season but lost the NFL championship game both seasons. The Patriots just finished the 2007 regular season undefeated. The question was "Was there ever and undefeated NFL Season?" If you're referring to a regular season AND championship win...there was only one...the 1972 Miami Dolphins. If you're referring to and undefeated regular season only...four teams have done this...they are: 1943 Chicago Bears 1942 Chicago Bears 1972 Miami Dolphins 2007 New England Patriots Both of the above answers are inaccurate. The first team to go undefeated through an ENTIRE NFL SEASON and win the CHAMPIONSHIP was the Green Bay Packers in 1929. Curly Lambeau was their coach. The Dolphins were the 2nd team to do it, 43 years later, without resorting to any ties (NFL had tie games in those days and the Packers had 1 tie). The Packers and Dolphins are the ONLY teams to ever accomplish an undefeated NFL Championship.
Dolphins back in the day. 71 I believe
