who holds the mariners career record for grand slams how many
I DO NOT KNOW, HOWEVER I DO KNOW HE STRUCK OUT 10 BATTERS IN A ROW IN A GAME IN 1970....THATS INCREDIBLE.
Two reasons: 1) Many people -- myself included -- thought that Babe Ruth's record for home runs in a career would be impossible to break. When the Babe retired, nobody had even HALF that many home runs in a career. To come within even 200 home runs of Ruth's record was considered a super achievement. Yet Hank DID break the record. 2) More significantly, Hank did it despite the extraordinary pressure against him. About 20% of this "fan" mail as he approached the record was overtly racist hate mail, with many letters openly stating that they would kill him before he could break the record.
No teams so far have won their division with a losing record, but if Seattle wins tonight, they will win the division and have a losing record.
AB stands for "at bats" which is how many times a batter gets to go up to the plate and hit the Baseball. Bf is "batters faced", which is the number of batters pitched to (pitching stats)

Usually AB is an offensive stat which stands for At Bat, meaning who is batting at the current moment. BF usually stands for Batters Faced, used as a pitching stat next to how many batters that pitcher struck out (Batters faced is not used in computing a pitcher's ERA, or Earned Run Average. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Earned_run_average)
