Stonewall Jackson, a Confederate general known for his military prowess, expressed disdain for Nat Turner, the leader of the 1831 slave rebellion in Virginia. Jackson viewed Turner as a violent instigator who threatened the institution of slavery and the Southern way of life. His reflections on Turner were influenced by Jackson's own staunch defense of slavery and his belief in maintaining social order. Consequently, Jackson's perspective on Turner was largely negative, seeing him as a dangerous revolutionary rather than a freedom fighter.

Nat Turner was a prominent figure in American history known for leading a slave rebellion in 1831. Others who share similarities with him include figures like Harriet Tubman, who fought against slavery through the Underground Railroad, and Gabriel Prosser, who also led an insurrection prior to Turner's rebellion. All of these individuals exemplified resistance against oppression and fought for freedom and justice in their own ways. Their legacies continue to inspire movements for social justice today.

Ted Turner is his own man he thinks for himself like his position on IRAN If you read the history on Iran it is not hard to understand why they want nuclear weapons. His fight with Murdock Is justified is right on the issues such as protecting the environment and health care. I am somewhat concerned that cnn appears to be leaning to the right. That does not reflect turners views in my view. They have been constantly been ragging on the Obama stimulus bill AND SPENDING TO MUCH MONEY. I do not see how this is help full to America.
