As long as nobody else in the team is wearing it, any number is fine. You probably won't be that lucky since most teams go from 2 - 16 for field players.
Jacques Plante made the first hockey mask because during one game he was injured so badly by a hockey puck to the face that he required several stitches. Following his injury he felt it appropriate to wear face protection (as he was a goalie and the odds of the injury re-occuring were fairly good).

In hockey, retired numbers are typically not used by players on the same team to honor the legacy of the player who wore that number. However, it is possible for a player on a different team to wear a retired number if the team that retired it allows it. Additionally, some teams may choose to unretire a number for special circumstances, such as honoring a significant event or player.
Goalies wear the same types of shoe as every other player.
Number 63 is a rare jersey number for the sport of hockey. No goalie has every worn the number, but stars such as Brad Marchand have.
Hockey Mask
The goalie is most likely to wear throat protection.
Goalies can wear any number but it is most common for them to wear the number 1.
Yes, definitely. lots of ice hockey goalies wear two cups. A regular cup jock and then a special goalie cup over top of that. Usually the size and speed of the puck or ball being shot at the net determines wether a goalie would need to wear a goalie cup. Lacrosse and ice hockey goalies wear cups but soccer goalies generally dont wear a cup

he wore a black shirt a bloody coat and jeans
Most leagues and competitions require that females wear skirts, but there is nothing in the rules of hockey that says a player must wear one. only girls if they want to
For women's field hockey, attire is: a jersey with a large number on the back, typically a skirt (old fashioned are usually pleated however they aren't anymore), and shinpads with socks over top. For males it is the same however they wear shorts.
Not all field hockey players wear skirts, to begin with. Very few female players wear bodysuits either. There are plenty of better solutions than a one-piece item which does not do everything it is needed for.
